Inflatables - Frequently Asked Questions

Do you only hire out inflatables?
We not only hire out inflatables but we sell them as well. In fact we can even manufacture custom inflatables for you.

Do inflatables stay inflated or do they need constant airflow?
There are 3 different types of inflatables and the answer varies for each. Cold-air inflatables need a constant source of airflow to stay inflated, which is provided by the attached blower. Each cold air inflatable comes with a blower which should be kept running while the inflatable is being used. Sealed inflatables however do not require a constant source of airflow. Helium inflatables need to be filled with helium in order to float, but do not need constant airflow to stay inflated. The helium must be refilled every three to five days.

How is the blower attached to the inflatable?
The blower is attached by Velcro straps then secured by rope or gaffa tape.

how easy is it to setup inflatable products?
It depends on a range of variables. The inflatables size, location and weather conditions can all affect the ease of inflation. We recommend that you pass the worries and work onto our professional experienced staff and let us set it up for you. If this is not an option we are more than happy to provide you with some guidelines and instructions to personally set it up yourself.

Inflatable maintenance tips:
Follow these simple steps to keep your inflatable in good nick.

1. To prevent tears/ punctures keep your inflatables well away from any sharp edges (especially when inflated)
2. Make sure you fully deflate before storing it.
3. Make sure it’s completely dry before storing it, this will prevent the growth of mold or mildew
4. Store it in a dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent fading.
5. Inspect and reinflate yearly to make sure neither the blower nor the inflatable require any repairs.

Are your staff available to setup on weekends?
Yes, however it depends on the site location and if they are in fact not already busy servicing other clients. We suggest you schedule this service well ahead of time to lock it in.

How will the inflatable stay in its position?
We supply ropes, pegs and/or stand bags as required. How long do inflatables last? Inflatables can last for years if properly looked after.
